general information
- 25; female; Virgo; tiger. I am exceptionally girly and perhaps excessively nerdy. I am always looking to expand my horizons and experience new things. I appreciate diversity and despise stereotypes. I'm very opinionated, but I'm always interested in listening to the opinions of others as well. I'm a very hard worker and I tend to take things seriously, but I am also passionate about my work and I always try to enjoy what I do.
I have been drawing and building websites for about fourteen years, and I have been interested in fashion for the past eleven years. I have only been sewing since 2009, but in that time I have gone from barely being able to stitch up a bodice to developing enough skills to construct and finish complex garments from difficult materials. Although I learned most of the basics in my fashion classes, I've also learned a lot about working with difficult textiles from the costumes I've made for myself in my spare time. I also dabble a bit in crafts such as crocheting and bookbinding. Right now I'm also in the process of teaching myself to knit.

However, I have consistently enjoyed the work of these designers and their successors.
- authors: Peter S. Beagle. Peter S. Beagle, Peter S. Beagle, Peter S. Beagle. Stephen King, Holly Black, Philip Pullman, Thomas Harris, J.K. Rowling. And Peter S. Beagle. I prefer to read a variety of books by different authors as opposed to reading several books by the same author, so the authors that I do like to read regularly are pretty awesome. Especially Peter S. Beagle.

the sea of wishes
- I came up with the phrase "The Sea of Wishes" as a title for my website in 2007. I chose it mainly because the words sounded good together and the phrase was relatively short and easy to remember. I also remember Googling some of the different titles I wanted to use and finding that "sea of wishes" came up with the fewest number of search results, so it stood out that way as well. I like to think of "the sea of wishes" as a methaphor for that part of my mind where my creative processes and inspiration take place.
The Sea of Wishes' current layout is based on fashion figures from my visual kei inspired fashion illustrations, and I created it primarily using Adobe Photoshop and Notepad++. The font is "Never Let Go" and the background is part of a photo of a live performance by the band Dazzle Vision.
