strawberry pearl: harajuku-inspired streetwear collection

My final drawing project of my junior year was to design a streetwear collection. I've always been a fan of Harajuku street fashion, so this was naturally the perfect market for me. However, since I live in America and plan to continue to work in America after I graduate, I wanted to take some of the aesthetics of Harajuku fashion and try to make them more relevant to an American customer. My ideal customer in this situation is a young American woman who appreciates the aesthetics of Japanese street fashion, but since she still wants to be considered stylish by American standards, her style is simpler and more westernized when compared with authentic Harajuku street fashion.
